Accessing Inner Guidance is designed for individuals who wish to learn and practice simple meditation techniques designed to awaken inner wisdom, guidance and latent inner healing potentials. The class will cover basic concepts or principles related to mindfulness, including mind-body connection, scientific evidence of the benefits of mindfulness, breathing techniques and other practical tools by which to enter into an expanded state of awareness. Participants will be guided into a state of deep relaxation using visual images, awareness of the breath, and affirmations to enhance their consciousness and better understand their total self. At the end of the meditation, a debrief session will follow allowing for questions, comments and general sharing. Participants learn to effectively apply this technique to address specific life challenges. With practice, participants are able to gain insight, inspiration and inner guidance in all areas of life.
