Therapeutic Healing Modalities

EPR QUANTUM BIOFEEDBACK

A stress reduction technique used to improve people's health by using signals from their own body.

The EPR (Electro-Physiological Reactivity) Biofeedback device is an advanced and sophisticated health care technology system based on quantum physics that scans your body’s reactivity to many of the physiological, psychological, emotional and energetic stressors that may be interfering and blocking the healing process in your body.  This technology is successfully used for stress reduction training, relaxation training, pain management, muscle re-education and brainwave training.  Stress can come from many different sources, such as toxicity, trauma, pathogens, mental factors, allergies, heredity, habits, nutritional deficiencies, etc.

The biofeedback sensors use mild electrical impulses that measure skin temperature, known as Electro Dermal Response (EDR), which teaches the individual to make subtle bodily changes, such as relaxing certain muscles, to achieve desired results, such as reducing pain.  Biofeedback is often used as a relaxation technique.

The instrument utilized in the training sessions is called the SCIO — or Scientific Consciousness Interface Operation System — which requires that the client connect to the system with a head band, ankle and wrist straps to measure EDR.  By using signals from the client’s own body, the system then can be applied to help reduce stressors and educate on stress and lifestyle changes that are supportive of the individual’s own health and wellness goals.

Reiki – Healing Touch

Energy-based healing modalities that significantly relieve stress and create a sense of inner-peace

Healing Touch and Reiki are both energy-based approaches to creating a sense of peace and well-being.  These healing practices are designed to support the individual’s or patient’s journey through the use of light touch to achieve emotional and physical balance.  Reiki is an ancient eastern healing technique used for stress reduction and sometimes pain relief.  It is a relaxing, nurturing energy therapy that assists in balancing physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.  It is used in a wide variety of settings, including chiropractic offices, medical centers and hospitals, to enhance surgery recovery and accelerate wound healing.

When used in conjunction with medical treatment, it has been shown to consistently relieve stress-related side effects and strengthen the immune system.  There are no known contraindications for these practices.  These integrative therapies are completely noninvasive and safe, and are proven to be an excellent complement to traditional stress relief treatments, including those with chronic illnesses, such as cancer.

Guided Meditation

Helps to cultivate awareness and self-exploration in a non-judgmental way.

Meditation (mindfulness) is a discipline that helps us cultivate awareness for the present moment in a non-judgmental way.  Meditation does not require faith, although confidence in the efficacy of the practice helps to keep the practitioner motivated.  Meditation or mindfulness involves choice.  The individual chooses to be in the present moment, chooses to pay attention, and chooses to be nonjudgmental about people, events and situations in life.  The practice of meditation and/or mindfulness redirects your awareness to focus on something in particular.  This focus can be on many things — for example, on your breath, a flower, a mantra, a sound, etc.  As such, meditation is the path, not the goal.  This practice quiets the mind and calms and balances its relationship with the body.

With consistency and discipline, the practitioner begins to realize that its applications and benefits are unlimited.  Benefits can range from a feeling of total relaxation, feeling peaceful, feeling at ease, having greater ability to cope with daily stressors, having greater clarity and ability to focus and problem solve to achieving altered states of consciousness.  Meditation gently beckons you to self-explore to discover fragmented aspects of yourself that were previously untapped or unknown to your conscious mind.  Medical reasons for meditating include all manner of healing, pain relief, wellness and health maintenance goals.  The simple act of meditating on a daily basis can very well serve as a means of acquiring the necessary fortitude, courage, patience and faith to cope with whatever challenge confronts us at any given stage in life.

Expressive Writing

Helps to process and reframes life experiences using the written word.

Expressive Writing uses the written word as therapy to thoroughly process life experience, particularly trauma and transition.  Writing Therapy posits that writing one’s feelings gradually eases feelings of emotional trauma, and helps you to reframe and see beyond what has occurred.  Writing therapeutically can include many types of trained practitioners and may take place individually or in a group.  When administered at a distance, it is useful for those who prefer to remain personally anonymous and are not ready to disclose their most private thoughts and anxieties in a face-to-face situation. As with most forms of therapy, Writing Therapy is adapted and used in a wide range of situations, including bereavement, desertion and abuse.  Many of these interventions take the form of classes where clients write on specific themes chosen by their therapist or counselor.  Participants are encouraged to write their “deepest feelings and thoughts” about a particular subject to help reorganize and structure traumatic experiences (e.g., their illness, recent loss, life transition, etc.).  Research findings are nothing short of impressive.  The research on Expressive Writing Therapy strongly suggests that it helps to:

  • Transcend personal trauma
  • Reduce stress levels considerably
  • Improve mood
  • Decrease symptom severity
  • Positively reorient long-held conflictive emotions
  • Improve quality of life by enhancing your sense of control

Inception Point Therapy

Facilitates the release of counter-productive emotions, memories or beliefs.

Inception Point Therapy

Inception Point Therapy is a healing technique that allows for the release of emotional memories, beliefs and old patterns that no longer serve your highest good.  Inception points may be understood as specific life experiences logged in our memory cells.  In order to permanently release negative or counterproductive emotions from a person’s body and mind, it’s often critical to change the beliefs that are connected to that emotion.  Inception Point Therapy does just that.  Based on the principle that there is one ever-present, unconditionally loving cosmic source of energy, and working within the Source of All-That-Is, changing undesirable life conditions is possible because these conditions are mutable energies.

With the assistance of the Inception Point Therapist, the client can transmute destructive emotions, limiting beliefs and karma, and thereby positively affect his or her present and future.  The therapist/practitioner guides the client through the process easily and safely to effect a desired outcome.  Inception Point Therapy can help you to:

  • Resolve long-held conflictive emotions
  • Transcend personal experiences by expanding consciousness
  • Tap into feelings of peace and inner calm
  • Learn to work through your heart in your healing process
  • Eliminate trauma, emotions, beliefs and patterns that keep you trapped
  • Have more satisfaction in all areas of life

Hypnotherapy

Promotes subconscious changes to responses, thoughts, attitudes, behaviors or feelings.

hypnotherapyHypnotherapy is a form of complementary therapy that utilizes the power of positive suggestion to bring about subconscious change to our thoughts, feelings and behavior. The process itself aims to alter our state of consciousness in a way that relaxes the conscious part of the mind while simultaneously stimulating and focusing the subconscious part. This heightened state of awareness — reached using skilled relaxation techniques — allows the therapist to then make appropriate suggestions.

Hypnosis can work for many issues, including:

  • Feeling Depressed
  • Health Concerns
  • Trouble Sleeping
  • Losing Weight
  • Reducing Stress
  • Improving Memory
  • Feeling Anxious
  • Eliminating Bad Habits
  • Fears and Limitations
  • Stop Smoking
  • Success Programming
  • Past-Life Regressions
  • And So Many More!
